Awin uses Microsoft Teams to maintain effective communication

Affiliate marketing company Awin is using Microsoft Teams to maintain effective communication and collaboration during the Covid-19 pandemic. The platform’s chat functions and accessibility from any device have proved popular among younger employees, motivating them to stay engaged with their work while operating from home. 

To ensure the firm’s staff could effectively work at any time and place, Awin partnered with software company Cisilion to complete a company-wide roll-out of Office 365, Windows 10 and Microsoft Teams.  

“We look after more than 1,000 users in 15 locations across the globe, so we have to be agile and on the cutting edge of technology,” said Alex Taylor, IT director at Awin, in a recent Microsoft news story. “Our mission is to ensure that anyone can work anywhere, at any time, and that means we have to ensure that we’re using the latest and greatest technology. We make sure we’re running the latest versions of Windows 10 and Office 365. Teams is perfect, too, because people’s files are accessible in the cloud, wherever they are; it brings everything under one roof.”

According to Taylor, Awin has seen a 112 per cent increase in Teams chat usage, a 456% increase in Teams calls and a 320% increase in Teams meetings.
