Microsoft partner Nintex has acquired AssureSign, a provider of electronic signature and digital transaction management software.

The acquisition will enable Nintex to offer native e-signature capabilities in the Nintex Process Platform, which enables organisations to manage, automate and optimise their business processes.

“We are excited to welcome eSignature leader AssureSign and its customers to our burgeoning Nintex community,” said Eric Johnson, CEO of Nintex.  “AssureSign’s automation technologies, like with our previous acquisitions, are well architected and will be integrated within the Nintex Process Platform over the months ahead to bring powerful and easy-to-use digital signatures to every organisation that is leveraging Nintex to improve the way people work.”

AssureSign serves over 100,000 active monthly users in industries including insurance and financial services. Using AssureSign’s API’s and eSign via Text solution, organisations can send documents for signature via a range of devices through customised experiences. The company has more than 500 customers and has facilitated around 800 million eSignatures since its founding.

“On behalf of the entire AssureSign team, we are thrilled to make e-signatures a critical part of Nintex’s market-leading process management and automation platform,” said David Brinkman, CEO of AssureSIgn. “Our cultures are both perfectly centred around our combined passion for customer success and we look forward to rapidly integrating AssureSign’s e-signatures with Nintex’s digital workflows and forms, document automation, and more.”

AssureSign is the latest of five acquisitions by Nintex in the past five years, following California-based Drawloop in July 2015, New Zealand company Promapp in July 2018, Florida-based EnableSoft in March 2019 and Wasington-based K2 in October 2020.
