Electronics company Sharp Europe and software provider TeamViewer have partnered to expand remote IT support offerings for their customers. Through the collaboration, Sharp partners can connect with customers’ screens via TeamViewer and support their needs remotely.

With full remote control of a customer’s screen, users can install and uninstall applications, review device configuration and exchange files with the display, which TeamViewer director Constantin Falcoianu says could reduce downtime and costs.

“Sharp is excited to partner with TeamViewer, the number one brand for remote working, enabling us to provide the best support solutions for our partners and customers,” said Birgit Jackson, commercial director of Sharp Visual Solutions. “The partnership forms part of Sharp’s ongoing mission to help create the workplace of the future by supporting its customers with next-generation technology.”
