At this week’s Future Decoded event in London, Jeremy Haisman, a director at Citrix, has outlined the company’s ongoing collaboration with Microsoft and explained how the two firms are helping customers prepare for the future.

“We recently announced a new collaboration agreement which will help Citrix and Microsoft customers to take things to the next level by providing simpler, turnkey solutions they can use to purchase and deploy digital workspaces and networking solutions in Microsoft Azure, along with expert guidance to plan and execute their cloud migrations,” he said.

And this is just the latest evolution of the alliance. “We continue to work closely together to deliver innovations that create real business value for our customers,” Haisman said. “We have announced day one support for Windows Server 2019. Plus, Citrix SD-WAN is part of the ‘Works with Office 365’ partnership for SD-WAN which enables customers to enhance the delivery of Office 365.”

Citrix is also planning to integrate Citrix Analytics with Azure Intelligent Security Graph, which will enable the firm to pair the massive amounts of insights from the combined solutions to help with real-time, autonomic threat detection and remediation.

“We’ve also recently announced our Cloud Alliance partnership, which will help to ensure customer cloud success through our joint partners,” Haisman said. “We continue to integrate Citrix Endpoint Management with Microsoft Intune to provide our customers with native Microsoft EMS/Intune integration and seamless interaction with Office 365 apps.

“We’re still the industry’s best solution for delivering virtualised Skype for Business, delivering real-time optimisation requirements for a secure near-native experience for virtualised Skype for Business. And we are also delivering Linux VD on Azure.”
