Tata Consultancy Services-owned software company Digitate has made its ignio software-as-a-service (SaaS) suite available on Microsoft Azure. The solution helps enterprises use artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to grow their business and deliver resilient, agile, and autonomous IT operations.

Digitate says that the “availability of the ignio SaaS suite on Azure will enable quicker configuration and deployment, high scalability, cost-effective pricing, strong security, and consistent availability with the latest updates, all on a trusted global public cloud platform”.

“We envision that in the new normal, successful enterprises have to be purpose-driven, autonomous, and highly adaptive in order to drive innovation and to best serve their customers and employees,” said Akhilesh Tripathi, global head of Digitate. “ignio SaaS on Microsoft Azure will deliver end-to-end autonomous capabilities for enterprises, and enable great customer and employee experiences, along with the economy, agility and scalability of the cloud.”

The suite comprises five standalone software products – ignio AIOps, ignio AI.WorkloadManagement, ignio AI.ERPOps, Cognitive Procurement and ignio AI.Digital Workspace – which use AI to identify the root causes of issues and fix them autonomously, freeing up time and resources for staff to work on higher value tasks.

Digitate and Microsoft will work with customers to help them become more resilient and adaptable using ignio SaaS on Azure. According to Digitate, “with most enterprises operating in a work-from-home mode, ignio SaaS on Azure represents a robust solution that allows them stay focused on business outcomes, reducing downtime and enabling a high service availability with anytime and anywhere access”.

“Business leaders in every industry are focused on how to offer trusted services to their customers, wherever they are,” said Priya Vijayarajendran, vice president of data and AI at Microsoft. “Digitate, combined with Microsoft Azure, is bringing advanced AI capabilities to help companies cognitively transform and empower customers in new ways.”
