PopcornApps launches airline bot on Azure to improve customer experience
Solution enables many flight-related functions including booking and check-in

Systems integrator and independent software vendor PopcornApps has launched a new Microsoft Azure-based airline bot to improve the user experience for those travelling. Employees and customers of airlines can use the solution for many flight-related functions such as booking and check-in, all online and without downloads.

The bot seamlessly integrates with travel technology providers such as Amadeus and Sabre and can be deployed within four weeks for airlines that use their technologies. PopcornApps can then use the airlines’ digital application programming interfaces to configure passenger and reservation specific functions such as passenger name record management, seat selection and boarding pass management.

The airline bot leverages artificial intelligence to increase customer engagement through popular messaging channels and as a result, caters to infrequent flyers and users who are more comfortable using a messaging platform.
