Education technology: what’s new at BettFest?

Education technology: what’s new at BettFest?

Event will discuss best practices for educating students during a pandemic

Elly Yates-Roberts |

At Bett, we recognise the urgent need to bring the education and technology community together to learn from this past year and to prepare for the future. It’s with this in mind that we’ve created BettFest, something different to celebrate and support the education community. The three days will offer product discovery, practical Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and best practices for educating students during a pandemic.

The new content will focus on three dedicated BettFest themes: leadership, digital inclusion and resilient futures. Through these pathways, the event will explore how to implement successful remote and blended learning experiences; improving access and skills for students at all levels; and
building a strong workplace culture and avoiding burnout.

BettFest will comprise a Main Stage, Solutions Showcase, Bett Academy and After School Club fringe events. Tune into the Main Stage to hear keynote speakers and see best practice from the front line. Each day will focus on one of the BettFest themes with speakers from around the world.

At the Solutions Showcase, you can stream new product showcases and discover what’s new in tech. The Bett Academy will also provide an opportunity to update to your CPD, with sessions from Microsoft, Apple, Connected Learning Centre and Animate2Educate.

Bett wouldn’t be Bett without some of the famous fringe events. We’re bringing you some of the best: the UK or International Teachmeet, the Global EdTech Startup Awards and a Microsoft Flipgrid event.

Registration for BettFest 2021 is now open.

Sarah Marshall is the global head of content at Bett
