Key speakers confirmed for Shoptalk 2017

More than 150 speakers have now been confirmed for retail and e-commerce event Shoptalk 2017, which will take place 19-22 March 2017 at the Aria in Las Vegas, US.

Shoptalk 2017 expects to host more than 5,000 attendees. The event will focus on key themes such as personalised commerce, retail experiences of the future, merchandising innovation, physical retail goes digital, and entrepreneurship and investment.

The speaker lineup is comprised of 50% CEOs, such as Brian Cornell, chairman and CEO of Target, and Devin Wenig, president and CEO of eBay. Around 22% hold other C-level positions, while 15% are vice president-level executives. Representing key figures spanning the commerce ecosystem, 62% of the speakers are from brands and retailers, 55% of which are venture-backed startups, and 45% of which are established companies. The startups speaking at Shoptalk have raised almost US$5 billion in funding to disrupt traditional retail and e-commerce.

A full list of confirmed speakers can be found here and another 100 speakers are expected to be confirmed in the coming months.

“Shoptalk has quickly become the most important retail and ecommerce event in the US,” said Anil Aggarwal, founder, chairman and CEO of Shoptalk. “Our speakers are from established retailers and brands, disruptive startups, leading internet and technology companies, prolific investors and influential media. Our lineup is unique in the industry because it’s the only one that represents the complete dialogue needed to understand how consumers discover, shop and buy in an age of digital transformation. Before Shoptalk, the dialogue was fragmented and siloed.”
