Microsoft has revealed a new era of Windows 10 devices at an event in New York City.
New Surface, Lumia and Band devices were introduced, while the latest updates to Hololens and Xbox have also been revealed.
“In just a few short months, it’s been incredible to see more than 110 million devices already running Windows 10,” said Terry Myerson, executive vice president of Microsoft’s Windows and Devices Group. “I’m personally humbled and excited to see people around the world loving Windows 10. We’re seeing a great response from IT professionals, with over 8 million business PCs already running Windows 10.”
The new devices include the Surface Book, a new laptop from Microsoft that offers the versatility of both pen and touch, and the Surface Pro 4 – a light, thin and fast tablet.
New editions of the Lumia phone range were also unveiled – Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. These combine the innovation of Windows 10 with powerful hardware and top-of-the-line imaging.
Other new releases included Microsoft Band 2, the Microsoft Hololens Development Edition, and a new update bringing Windows 10 to Xbox One.
