Shoptalk Europe to focus on the future shopping experience

Shoptalk Europe is to offer more than 100 sessions – including 18 keynotes – focused on the trends, technologies and business models that are disrupting retail when it comes to Copenhagen, Denmark for the first time this October.

To be held 9-11 October, Shoptalk Europe is a new pan-European retail and e-commerce event that follows the launch of Shoptalk US, which has been running for two years. More than 2,000 delegates are expected to attend the event.

Discussions will centre on the shopping experiences of the future, the digitisation of physical retail stories, on-demand delivery and logistics, shifting e-commerce trends, analytics, consumer behaviour and expectations, and global and cross-border commerce.

The initial speaker line-up already includes more than 70 C-level executives, and an additional 170 are expected to be added by October. Confirmed speakers include senior executives from European and global retailers, brands, start-ups, investors, analysts, and technology and internet companies. A full list can be found here.

Shoptalk Europe will also offer a Hosted Retailers & Brands Program to provide qualified retailers and brands with free tickets and up to €650 in reimbursement for travel and accommodation expenses (US$1,000 for retailers and brands travelling from the US). To qualify for this programme, individuals who are responsible for evaluating or buying retail or e-commerce technology for their companies must attend at least eight 15-minute onsite meetings with Shoptalk Europe’s exhibitors and sponsors.
