HPE Enterprise Services (HPE ES) is to merge with digital solutions provider CSC and form DXC Technology on 3 April 2017.

Although CSC and HPE ES will continue to operate as two separate organisations under their current leadership structures, the merger will create one of the world’s leading independent, end-to-end IT services company. DXC Technology will serve nearly 6,000 clients in more than 70 countries, and is expected to generate US$26 billion in annual revenues.

“With a mission of leading clients on their digital transformation journeys, DXC Technology will be recognised globally as a force multiplier, enabling clients to seize the opportunities presented by today’s rapidly changing technologies,” said Mike Lawrie, chairman, president and CEO of CSC, who will serve as DXC Technology’s chairman, president and CEO. “The DXC Technology brand will be built on a foundation of trust and transformation, and a relentless drive to help clients thrive on change. We will focus on producing greater value for clients, partners and shareholders, along with growth opportunities for our people.”
