Acuvate’s Mesh 3.0 brings the best of Microsoft AI and SharePoint to the digital workplace

Microsoft gold partner and digital transformation provider Acuvate has launched the world's first artificial intelligence-powered intranet, Mesh 3.0. It is built around SharePoint, Office Graph, Azure Cognitive Search and Cognitive Services, Teams, Power Apps and Power Automate, and features Azure machine learning, text analytics and speech services.

Organisations have come a long way from using very few digital tools to witnessing a total digital takeover. Our earlier version of the intranet had a conventional set-up and found information organically. However, when we started to witness changes in workplace trends, we felt we needed to improve how employees connect, collaborate and communicate within an organisation.

Therefore, in response to the prevailing situation and what has transpired since the emergence of modern workplace demands, Acuvate has come up with a modern intranet for Office 365 that brings the best of Microsoft artificial intelligence (AI) and SharePoint to empower the digital workplace.

To seize the new opportunities and accelerate digital transformation, Mesh 3.0 was designed with a unique capability of providing the right content to the right people at the right time. Underpinned with advanced AI and knowledge mining techniques, it extracts implicit and explicit knowledge from your organisation’s existing data and reduces the overall time to find the right information. This personalised content experience makes Mesh 3.0 engaging and easy to adopt.

A proliferation of enterprise applications and piecemeal digital solutions end up facilitating workplace fragmentation, which adds more stress to already harried employees. Mesh 3.0 is designed to function as the one-stop portal for employees to carry out daily tasks in both pooling information and working.

Mesh 3.0 features many tools which make all this possible. The personaliser automatically generates user personas based on their interests, activities, locations and other information. The cognitive enterprise search uses integrated AI to uncover latent insights from all your organisation-wide content and improve decision-making. The enterprise collaboration engine enables users to create a connected modern digital workplace, while the enterprise communication engine encourages multichannel communication between employees. The autonomous intranet solution also features MeshBOT, a personal digital assistant.

The intranet solution also connects to an enterprise’s back-end applications, creating a single user interface to find information, and features a content management system tool. In addition, users can measure return on investment with the solution’s usage adoption analytics tool.
