x.news information technology has integrated OpenAI ChatGPT into x.news, a live news monitoring/research tool, to make it quicker for users to find the information they need.

The x.news tool allows users to check multiple different sources for information related to emerging stories – such as news agencies, social media sites, websites and internal sources – via one screen. The new OpenAI ChatGPT copilot feature can analyse and summarise articles about these emerging topics, to further accelerate the process.

“x.news is a powerful live story research tool that transforms the way journalists and users work,” said Andreas Pongratz, CEO x.news information technology. “OpenAI ChatGPT can easily summarise up 20 to 30 articles per emerging topic. Users that have signed up with OpenAI can receive the summaries, which will speed up the selection process by at least 50 per cent.”
