Rockwell Collins, a leader in the development and deployment of solutions for the aviation industry for both commercial and government applications, has extended its relationship with Dassault Systèmes.

The company uses ENOVIA and EXALEAD applications from Dassault Systèmes’ Co-Design to Target industry solution experience. These solutions are delivered via the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, and help enhance Rockwell Collins’ product lifecycle management practices.

Using these solutions, Rockwell Collins is able to improve collaboration across its research, development and manufacturing processes. The company is also better positioned to streamline workflows and manage internal costs.

The Co-Design to Target solution is specifically designed for aerospace and defence companies, and operates via a secure government cloud environment.

Users of the solution can create functional mock-ups and simulations, while dashboards provide company staff with access to all the information they require around a project.

“The heritage of Dassault Systèmes in the aerospace and defence industry is driving innovations that transform how engineers, designers and technical experts work,” said Michel Tellier, vice president, Aerospace & Defence Industry, Dassault Systèmes. “Our investment in research and development ensures Rockwell Collins and our other customers are equipped with technology tailored exclusively for the aerospace and defence industries. Rockwell Collins chose to leverage key capabilities of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to reduce complexity in its global business. We look forward to continuing this strong collaboration with Rockwell Collins and playing an integral part in supporting its business.”
