Avanade to launch a fully managed Microsoft Azure Stack Solution

Companies will be able to adopt Microsoft Cloud in a deployment model that best suits their needs

Avanade is to launch a new, fully managed Microsoft Azure Stack Solution to enable companies to deploy the Microsoft Cloud in the environment and combination of deployment models that best suits their needs.

Azure Stack, an extension of Azure to on-premises environments, enables companies to adopt a hybrid IT cloud model. The complete set of Azure hybrid capabilities includes uniformity across identity, security and management, data, and application platforms.

“Avanade is excited to help enterprises speed their journey to the cloud with a flexible, fully managed Azure-consistent solution where and when they need it,” said said Rich Stern, executive for Global Market Units and Cloud at Avanade. “Organisations will be able to experience the benefits of the Microsoft cloud with the agility and control they need.”

Avanade’s fully managed solution will offer an Azure-consistent experience at a competitive price point and will be available in a consumption-based or pre-purchased pricing model. The Azure Stack solution can be delivered on-premise at the client site, at remote locations or it can be hosted in Avanade’s data centres. It will also be offered through Accenture’s Cloud Platform from the second half of 2017.

“Avanade is a valued Azure Stack partner, giving our clients the benefits of Azure in hybrid environments while providing valuable input and expertise to help improve the platform,” said Mike Neil, corporate vice president of Azure Infrastructure Management at Microsoft. “We look forward to delivering on the promise of hybrid cloud together.”
