4N to reveal new 3D concept created with Dassault Systèmes technology

Watch brand 4N will reveal a new 3D concept at BaselWorld 2014 that was created using Dassault Systèmes FashionLab technology incubator.

François Quentin, designer and owner of 4N, will display a film in 3D without glasses, in ultra-high definition, entirely made with 3D and virtual content.

The high-definition virtual images were created with software applications developed by FashionLab.

The film will be displayed on a special auto-stereoscopic screen, which enables viewing in 3D without wearing special glasses.

This type of screen is manufactured by the French company Alioscopy and is one of the newest technologies in 3D without glasses in Ultra High Definition (4K).

The BaselWorld watch and jewellery show will take place on 27 March-3 April in Messe Basel, Switzerland.
