AppSense Insight helps provide computing environment intelligence

A new analytics platform from AppSense is helping to provide actionable intelligence on end user client computing environments.

AppSense Insight gathers more data than previously possible from endpoints. This data is then blended with third party feeds and workspace knowledge to deliver intelligence that can be used to help increase user productivity, security and compliance, while also managing and reducing costs.

“With AppSense Insight, IT teams can understand exactly what’s happening on their endpoints using metrics such as user logon times, privileges assigned versus what was actually used, application usage, user density per server and central processing unit consumption,” said Ravi Khatod, SVP of Marketing at AppSense. “This means IT teams understand what users are experiencing, react quickly to potential issues, and take proactive steps to ensure that their key transformation and migration projects will be successful keeping costs down and users productive.”

The platform works on any Windows PC running Windows 7 or later, and provides a unified view of all endpoints within a user environment.

“Our focus is on helping our customers deliver a workspace that drives the highest levels of user productivity while ensuring security, compliance and operational efficiency across all Windows client computing environments, virtual, physical and data-as-a-service,” added Khatod. “Rather than reporting low-level endpoint data, AppSense is leveraging its 15 years of user environment management experience to provide accurate and actionable intelligence.”

AppSense Insight is available on a standalone basis, or can be combined with AppSense’s user environment management suite DesktopNow.
