IT services company DXC Technology is expanding its partnership with Microsoft to accelerate clients’ cloud migrations through the DXC and Microsoft Azure Digital Transformation Practice.
According to Gartner, the worldwide public cloud services market is projected to grow by 17.5% in 2019 as organisations are seeking ways to accelerate their migration to the cloud and efficiently scale their digital strategies. DXC and Microsoft will help customers do this through their global Microsoft Azure Digital Transformation Practice.
“The DXC and Microsoft Azure Digital Transformation Practice enhances our deep and long-standing relationship with Microsoft,” said Dan Hushon, senior vice president and chief technology officer at DXC. “Through this initiative, we will provide clients with a highly integrated team approach to modernising their IT systems on Azure. The result will be reduced time-to-digital and a more rapid movement of client workloads from legacy IT to a modern cloud architecture on Azure.”
The firms will jointly invest in developing products and services built for Azure with teams composed of DXC’s Azure professionals and Microsoft architects and technical strategists.
“The expanded partnership deepens the long-standing DXC Technology and Microsoft relationship to help organisations more swiftly benefit from digital solutions through Microsoft Azure,” said Gavriella Schuster, corporate vice president of Microsoft’s One Commercial Partner group. “I am inspired by the digital transformation stories from our clients who leverage the power of the Azure cloud. Together, DXC and Microsoft will bring even greater innovation and value to enterprises from Azure.”
