Microsoft is returning to Hannover Messe between 30 May and 2 June 2022 to showcase its latest investments into improving the visibility of supply chains.

The firm will showcase the use of technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform for real-time planning and automating business processes.

Beyond the event, Microsoft is working with manufacturers to encourage a data-driven approach to improve operations and drive focused improvements to systems and processes. Since Hannover Messe will focus on the digital transformation of manufacturing, Microsoft will demonstrate how Dynamics 365 can transform manufacturing processes with advanced warehousing, robotics and mixed reality solutions

Microsoft will also showcase its Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management service, which is uses robotics to improve the automation of warehouse functions.

“A key innovation that is helping manufacturers to overcome workforce shortages and close the talent gap is the application of mixed reality to accelerate the onboarding of new employees and rapidly upskill existing team members,” said Vignesh Balasubramanian, senior product marketing manager of supply chain management at Microsoft. “Based on the Microsoft-commissioned Forrester Total Economic Impact study, manufacturing organisations that have deployed mixed-reality solutions have reduced training time by 75 per cent, at an average savings of $30 per hour.”

Microsoft’s mixed-reality solutions, such as Dynamics 365 Guides, HoloLens 2 and Dynamics 365 Remote Assist, will also be discussed at the event, all of which deliver interactive learning experiences to increase workforce efficiency and flexibility.

Microsoft’s booth will be located in Hall 4 Stand E34 where attendees can take part in guided tours and book meetings with Microsoft executives and manufacturing experts.
