At Microsoft Channel Connect on 24 October 2022, Microsoft introduced its new Teams licenses, a tool within the collaboration platform  that aims to improve the enterprise-facing hybrid meeting experience.

Teams Rooms Pro offers in-room meeting experiences including smart audio, video and dual-screen support, as well as a full set of device management features. It is available to all enterprise and small and medium business customers.

In addition, Teams Rooms Basic enables key meeting experiences on certified Microsoft Teams Rooms devices, including  scheduling, content sharing and collaborative digital Whiteboard, as well as basic security and management features.

“At Microsoft we are continually developing new tools and improving our solutions to meet the needs of this increasingly complex scenario,” said Everton Caliaman, director of sales and marketing for commercial devices at Microsoft Brazil. “We know that organisations need tools to manage multiple devices safely and easily, no matter where people are working. Our focus is to empower organisations and people so they can connect, create and have fun; and deliver more security, management and flexibility to the workplace.”
