Build 2019: Microsoft introduces new cloud and developer tools
Releases include AI-driven innovations across Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure

On day one of Microsoft Build 2019, the firm introduced new artificial intelligence (AI)-driven cloud and developer tools across Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure. 

After releasing a range of new features before the event, Microsoft showcased additional technologies specifically for helping developers to create innovative business solutions. The firm’s partners such as Starbucks, J.P. Morgan and Kroger showcased their own solutions that provide customer-centric experiences at the event, which was held on 6-8 May. 

Enterprise customers can now benefit from new collaboration and productivity services across apps and the web, and further AI capabilities in Microsoft 365 to address the changing nature of work. Microsoft is also delivering new open source technologies and developer tools in Microsoft Azure and Windows. New releases in Microsoft Azure and Windows, spanning infrastructure, data, AI, mixed reality, collaboration and business applications, enable developers worldwide to create new experiences for organisations and individuals.
