Microsoft partner Dootrix is to help electric vehicle (EV) services provider Gridserve improve its cloud presence and user experience.

Dootrix, which has been supporting Gridserve’s Microsoft Azure cloud platform since 2019, will provide the firm with technology to facilitate Gridserve’s roll-out of charging points for electric vehicles across the UK.

The first stage of the partnership will focus on streamlining the driver interface of the charging points, with the aim of eventually offering a range of forecourt, vehicle and ancillary services.

“Gridserve has worked with a number of partners over the years and it’s a huge endorsement of Dootrix that they chose us to help realise their goals,” said Rob Borley, CEO of Dootrix. “We couldn’t be prouder to be working with one of the fastest growing, innovative and passionate companies; one that’s set to transform the EV experience and help save the planet in the process.”

Dootrix will also continue supporting Gridserve with its previous cloud endeavours in improving charging-session data, payment facilitation and back-office integration.
