At Microsoft Ignite 2019, IT firm Unisys has launched several new capabilities for the Microsoft Azure Cloud.

Two new capabilities in CloudForte for Microsoft Azure – Unisys Cloud Architecture Navigator and Cloud Compliance Director – will help clients to optimise operations and security for workloads delivered through Unisys CloudForte for Microsoft Azure and in hybrid cloud environments.

“These new capabilities in CloudForte enable Unisys to help clients achieve their vision: cloud done right, cloud done securely and cloud done smartly,” said Raj Raman, chief technology officer of cloud at Unisys. “We can show clients the best operational approaches for their cloud, help them establish and continually assess foundational security and compliance controls, and automate delivery of applications and services reliably and economically.”

Meanwhile, Stealth(identity) software-as-a-service (SaaS) is Unisys’ new cloud-based version of its  biometric identity management software which aims to bring biometric identity proofing and authentication capabilities to enterprises of all sizes, through the Microsoft Azure cloud.

“Stealth(identity) gives clients a simplified, cost-saving effective way of addressing the problem of identity fraud by establishing accurate, unique, verified and irrefutable identities – resulting in greater security and convenience,” said Vishal Gupta, chief technology officer at Unisys.
