Microsoft has announced its Partner of the Year Awards winners and finalists for 2022. The annual award recipients are selected based on their commitment to customers, the impact of their solutions and their exemplary use of Microsoft technologies.

Winners were chosen from over 3,900 nominees across 126 countries and regions for awards in seven categories, including Azure, Business Applications, Business Excellence, Industry, Modern Work, Security and Social Impact. Microsoft added a new Security category this year to recognise the work being carried out to combat cybersecurity threats and compliance challenges, with the Compliance and Operational Excellence awards available to win.

Some of the winners and finalists include Accenture/Avanade, Bytes Software Services, EY, Flintfox, ICONICS, Infosys, Johnson Controls, KPMG, MURAL, Nokia, NTT Data UK, SAS, Schneider Electric and Tata Consultancy Services.

Other winners include Australia-based Barhead Solutions, which won the Community Response award in the Social Impact category for its use of Power Platform and Dynamics 365 to connect homeless youth with education and workplace opportunities; and Fujitsu as the Education Industry winner, for its K-12 student information software-as-a-service running on Microsoft Azure.

Microsoft will celebrate the winners and finalists at Microsoft Inspire 2022, a digital event hosted on 19-20 July 2022 to encourage attendees to learn about new ways to expand their businesses and connect.

“We were impressed by the breadth of nominated solutions and inspired by the success stories submitted this year – all were a reflection of the diverse and innovative solutions portfolio built by our partners, and a true representation of the global reach of our partner ecosystem,” said Nicole Dezen, corporate vice president of device partner sales at Microsoft. “Congratulations to this year’s winners and finalists, and to all our partners who have demonstrated innovation, commitment to their customers, and care for our world over this past year.

“We are excited to virtually gather as a community to recognise and celebrate your achievements from the past year, and to share new opportunities to develop and expand your business.”
