The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) has announced some of the keynote speakers who will take to the stage at CES 2020 in Las Vegas, US on 7-10 January.

Salesforce chairman and co-CEO Marc Benioff and Unilever CEO Alan Jope will discuss the role that companies can play in solving social and environmental challenges.

The US Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao will also deliver a keynote address at the event exploring the current state of innovation and recent Department of Transportation (DOT) initiatives to use modern technologies.

“As the highest-ranking US transportation official, Secretary Chao is driving the Administration’s initiatives to safely advance the transportation industry through tech innovation,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of CTA. “We welcome Secretary Chao back to the CES keynote stage and look forward to hearing the DOT’s latest initiatives that will provide a roadmap for the industry – in the US and abroad – and help to further improve public safety.”

Advisor to President Trump, Ivanka Trump will also take to the keynote stage with Shapiro to discuss employee reskilling strategies, create apprenticeships and develop STEM education programmes.
