Presenter Coach helps users to improve their presentation and public speaking skills

Microsoft has launched a new artificial intelligence (AI) powered presentation tool in PowerPoint called ‘Presenter Coach’. The new feature aims to help users to improve their presentation and public speaking skills by providing feedback as they are practicing a presentation in front of their computer.

“Over the last few years, we’ve received feedback from educators, students, and customers that people want an easy way to practice their presentations to improve their public speaking abilities,” said Shawn Villaron, PowerPoint partner group program manager in an official Microsoft 365 Blog post. "Based on academic research and field studies, we’ve integrated presentation best practices into Presenter Coach to help people give more effective presentations.

“This feature allows you to enter rehearsal mode and while speaking you receive on-screen guidance about pacing, inclusive language, use of filler words, and culturally insensitive phrases. It even lets you know when you’re just reading off the slide. At the end of each rehearsal session, a detailed report with metrics for additional practice is provided.”
