Porsche chooses Icertis for digital contract management
Icertis’s Microsoft Azure-hosted platform will help Porsche better manage supply chains

Porsche is in the process of implementing Icertis’s Microsoft Azure-hosted Contract Management (ICM) platform to provide transparency into legal processes and better manage supply chains.

The platform will be used by more than 2,000 of the carmaker’s employees to manage over 100 different agreement types.

“The correct handling of contracts is an essential component of Porsche AG's success” said Melanie Schenk, legal counsel at Porsche. “ICM now enables transparent integration of all relevant departments in the process of contract coordination. It also supports the departments in contract processing, for example through the possibility of digital signing, deadline checks and a file that can be traced at any time.”

The roll-out is the latest step in Porsche’s relationship with Icertis. The company has been using the ICM platform to manage its indirect procurement contracting since 2018, but decided to carry out widespread adoption because of its widely configurable platform and rapid implementation time.

“Porsche has a reputation for producing some of the most innovative sports cars in the world,” said Samir Bodas, CEO of Icertis. “To maintain efficiency in competitive and performance-driven industries, forward looking companies are reimagining their commercial foundations with contracts at the centre. We’re thrilled Porsche is expanding its relationship with us and will leverage the ICM platform across its organisation to unlock the true value that only an enterprise-wide approach to contract management can deliver.”
