Interop ITX to focus on current and future state of IT in the workplace

Cloud, big data and DevOps will also be covered at the event in Las Vegas this May

Interop ITX will host a series of keynote sessions focused on the current and future state of IT in the workplace when it takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada (US) from 15-19 May 2017.

Keynotes will be held from 8-10am on both 17 and 18 May, with the first day of presentations focusing on the current state of IT and the second concentrating on the future of IT. Speakers will include Andrew McAfee, author and principal research scientist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, who will speak about how digital technologies are changing business, the economy, and society. Other high profile speakers include Otto Berkes, former Microsoft Xbox architect and now executive vice president and CTO at CA Technologies; Kevin Mandia, CEO, FireEye; and more.

Delegates will also be able to attend five-minute ‘Lightning Talks’ and a panel discussion about how recruitment, people management and culture are paramount to any successful organisation. Moderated by Amazon’s Ester Frey, the panel discussion will include Janine Gianfredi, former chief marketing officer of US Digital Service at the White House; Ed McLaughlin, CIO at Mastercard; and Olga Braylovskiy, vice president of workforce technology at Intuit. Each of these speakers will offer their thoughts on the complexities of building a strong team and culture.

Interop will also cover cloud computing, big data analytics, DevOps, cybersecurity, career development, the agile working model, internet of things, and more.
