A+E Networks, a broadcasting joint venture between Disney-ABC Television Group and Hearst, has partnered with employee experience platform (EXP) provider Akumina to enhance the digital staff experience. A+E will use the Akumina platform to help employees work more efficiently and seamlessly from any device.

Akumina helps global enterprises create transformative workplace experiences such as modern intranets, digital dashboards and mobile applications focused on employee engagement, productivity and innovation.

“A+E is thrilled to make this investment in our employees,” said Susan Tanamli, head of technology at A+E Networks. “We look forward to working with Akumina to build an even better digital workplace with their state-of-the-art technology. Overall this will provide great efficiency and seamless access for all employees.”

The Akumina EXP allows any application to be connected to create a scalable ‘single-pane-of-glass’ experience. It delivers contextual content to employees based on a variety of criteria, including job role, device and location, to enhance staff engagement and productivity.

“A+E is taking a leap forward by empowering its employees with tools that will help them be even more efficient,” said David Maffei, president and chief risk officer at Akumina. “Our commitment to our customers is to provide a platform that is easy to implement, operate, and manage so that employees can work smarter, not harder. We look forward to building a partnership with A+E that will further enhance their workplace technology.”
