Solution provider Honeywell is to launch new applications built on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform for clients in the buildings industry.
The integration of Honeywell Forge enterprise performance management software with Dynamics 365 Field Service is designed to give users access to operating data to improve performance and energy efficiency, and real-time data to help workers quickly prioritise, analyse and solve problems.
The first area of focus is automating maintenance for buildings operators and owners.

Microsoft says that Crown Towers Perth in Australia has used Honeywell Forge to reduce reactive work orders by 90 per cent and created cost savings of between 10 and 20 per cent.
The firm adds that that by integrating with Dynamics 365 Field Service, Honeywell will be able to quickly bring new offerings to market while helping customers meet regional security, privacy and compliance requirements.
