Lumina deploys Optevia CRM solution to power new pricing service

UK energy deal comparison service Lumina has deployed Optevia’s tailored customer relationship management (CRM) solution to power its new Pricing Engine.

Based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online 2013, Optevia’s new CRM solution will help Lumina to manage customer interactions and provides more accurate search criteria to help qualify the best energy deals.

“We sought a CRM platform that would provide a front office application with a single view of our customer database, allowing us to integrate a Pricing Engine that could pull the most current rates from UK energy suppliers and report the recommendations to our customers,” said James Dubois, director of Lumina. “Optevia was the clear choice as they could provide a tailored and unified solution to meet our specific requirements of seamlessly integrating the CRM system with the Pricing Engine, helping us save time and enabling us to provide the best service on the market.”

Lumina’s Pricing Engine, which was also developed by Optevia and is based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM, will aggregate gas and electric tariffs from the multiple suppliers in the UK to compare the best deals on the market for small to medium-sized enterprises.

The prices will then be directly integrated into Lumina’s CRM database, and automated campaigns can be targeted at the Lumina customers that might be paying a higher rate for their gas and electric.
