Matrix42 updates client management solution for Windows 10

Matrix42 has updated its client management solution to coincide with the release of the Windows 10 operating system.

According to a recent Matrix42 survey, 90% of existing customers want to make the move Windows 10 and nearly half want to do so this year.

The updated Matrix42 Client Management solution offers customers technology and process support when migrating to Windows 10. Devices and software that are compatible with Windows 10 are analysed for potential conflicts during the migration process.

A major challenge when migrating to a new operating system is avoiding downtime and data loss. Matrix42’s solution counters this by determining whether a company is ready and able to migrate its systems.

The solution also provides support in testing, customising, distributing, operating and optimising Windows 10 for a company’s network, as well as significant reductions to migration costs and time.

“We’re proud that we can offer our customers a central administration system timed for the launch of Windows 10 and that we can help them with optimum support for their migration project,” said Horst Droege, chief product architect at Matrix42.

The Matrix42 Client Management Web console supports both Windows 10’s new Edge browser and Internet Explorer 11.
