Microsoft and the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, have partnered to help small London-based companies grow.
The London & Partners Mayor’s International Business Programme is set to welcome new scale-ups in autumn in the financial, business services, technology, creative, urban and life sciences sectors. Those companies will benefit from the new partnership with Microsoft, which will provide engagement opportunities and technical and business support.
“I’m thrilled Microsoft is continuing its collaboration with the capital’s tech sector and joining my International Business Programme as one of our official partners,” said Khan. “As a world leader in the technology industry, Microsoft is uniquely positioned to offer London businesses the support they need to scale up and make the most of their potential. I’m really looking forward to seeing the innovations that emerge from this important partnership.”
Microsoft joins organisations such as Collinson, KPMG, Lloyds Bank, Taylor Wessing and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati as partners of the MIBP, which, according to Microsoft, has already helped over 900 London-based companies to grow internationally, creating over 1,700 jobs.
