Intelligent process automation provider Nintex has showcased its latest innovations in workflow automation solutions for Microsoft Office 365 at Microsoft Inspire, which is taking place in Las Vegas, US from 15-19 July.
The Nintex Platform, which digitally transforms business processes running on Microsoft SharePoint, Office 365, Dynamics, Teams, Planner and more, now offers component workflows with Nintex for Office 365 that support advanced process scenarios and new form variables and form version control.

Operational and IT professionals can use Nintex for Office 365’s new component workflows feature to quickly create individual workflows for automating specific business processes. These individual workflows can be used to create new and more complex business processes in a short space of time. The workflows are centrally managed, which ensures that automated processes remain consistent wherever they are used.
“Designers are able to take discrete pieces of workflow logic to use where they see fit across multiple workflow designs,” said Alex Burton, vice president of product at Nintex. “Everyone saves time and reduces errors with Nintex’s new component workflow capability for Office 365.”
Naylor Love Construction in New Zealand uses the Nintex Platform to manage its workplace safety hazards. Now, it is also using the new component workflow capability to create reusable workflows that can be implemented as a single action across multiple workflows.
“Nintex component workflows with Office 365 is a huge time saving,” said Lee Harris, Naylor Love’s systems administrator. “We’re excited to be able to create reusable parts of a workflow and to speed up development.”
Nintex partner Synergi is also putting Nintex component workflows to use with a major UK retailer. The retailer is using the Nintex Platform to digitise the credit application process, which formerly involved using a chain of slow and complex actions. Nintex’s new component workflow capability for Office 365 centralises all the repeated actions, which reduces the size of the design to just a few actions.
“With component workflows from Nintex, our team can build complex solutions much faster, which also can be more easily managed and maintained,” said Justin Short, Synergi co-founder and director. “This is a huge benefit to Synergi and our customers.”
