Microsoft will hold its annual Inspire event virtually for the first time on 21-22 July. Attendees can hear from a range of Microsoft executives to learn more about the strategies they can use to help their customers going forward, and understand how Microsoft can help with this.
In a recent Microsoft video, Gavriella Schuster, corporate vice president of Microsoft’s One Commercial Partner organisation, spoke about how the virtual event could be more interactive and creative than ever before.
“We are working to make this as engaging and interactive as we can,” she said. “There is a lot we can do with chat windows and communities by bringing people together in an ongoing way. We are looking at this as a springboard for us to have an ongoing dialogue and continue to build together as the world is moving very quickly, and we want to be able to respond to our customers and their needs.”
She went on to discuss the renewed purpose of the event, which will be free to attend and for more people than ever before. “I hear from you that the most valuable thing about coming to Inspire is making connections with Microsoft and with the other partners that are there. It gives you a view of the year ahead [at Microsoft], of our roadmap, where we are investing, what our priorities are, and helps us to build some of those joint motions and strategies on how we can go to market together.”
The speaker line-up is still evolving but concrete participants will include Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft; Brad Smith, president of Microsoft; Judson Althoff, executive vice president of worldwide commercial business at Microsoft; Nick Parker, corporate vice president of global partner solutions at Microsoft; and Gavriella Schuster.
