Microsoft launches AI Business School to empower leaders

Microsoft has launched its Artificial Intelligence (AI) Business School to empower business executives to lead with confidence. The free, online masterclasses will help answer questions about AI implementation such as how and where to begin implementation and how to use AI responsibly.

According to a blog post by John Roach, a writer for Microsoft Stories and the AI Blog, the school’s course materials include case studies, video lectures, perspectives and talks that business executives can access whenever. The content focuses on managing the impact of AI on company strategy, culture and responsibility.

“This school is a deep dive into how you develop a strategy and identify blockers before they happen in the implementation of AI in your organisation,” said Mitra Azizirad, corporate vice president for AI marketing at Microsoft.

The business school can be used in conjunction with other AI learning resources from Microsoft, including the developer-focused AI School and the Microsoft Professional Program for Artificial Intelligence, which enables engineers to improve their skills in AI and data science.

According to Azizirad, the AI Business School is not technical and is designed to get executives ready for AI transformation in their organisations.

“[I am] proud that Microsoft is the first cloud provider to offer an online AI Business School,” said Çağlayan Arkan, global lead of Manufacturing and Resources at Microsoft. “This is an important resource designed to empower business leaders to lead with confidence in the age of AI.”
