Microsoft has confirmed Sonata Software is now a Microsoft ISV Development Centre.

Sonata is a global IT solutions firm that specialises in product engineering services and builds solutions using Microsoft Dynamics, Azure and Cortana.

As a Microsoft ISV Development Centre, Sonata will have a special relationship with Microsoft’s research and development teams. It will receive a high level of training and support, and be invited by Microsoft to participate in new technology previews and beta programmes so that it is ready to support new technologies and versions of existing technologies before they are released to market.

It will also be able to provide strong third-party technical services that can be contracted and leveraged by other Microsoft partners.

“Sonata’s extensive experience engineering solutions on multiple releases of the Dynamics platform, including industry solutions on the recently launched Dynamics 365 platform, expertise spanning dynamics operations and customer relationship management, a large global resource pool and 360-degree product lifecycle services, were factors that make it an ideal partner selected for this programme,” said Pat Fitzhenry, director of the Microsoft ISV Development Centres.
