Hannover Messe 2019 is focusing on the importance of hydrogen and fuel cells as alternative energy sources and storage solutions.

For many years hydrogen and fuel cell technologies have featured prominently at Hannover Messe, but they are now rapidly growing in importance as energy sources and energy storage media as the world increasingly turns to renewable energy sources.

Hannover Messe, which is running until 5 April in Hannover, Germany, includes a Hydrogen + Fuel Cells EUROPE exhibition in Hall 27 which will feature 170 exhibitors such as Toyota and Daimler. These firms will showcase the latest fuel cell applications and solutions for storing renewably generated electricity by producing hydrogen.

Visitors can also take part in the extensive supporting programme at the event. Attendees can test-drive fuel cell-powered cars such as the Toyota Mira at the event’s open-air site. There will also be in-depth information and discussions on offer at two special forums.
