RBTE reveals Innovation Trail and Awards shortlist nominees

Ahead of this year’s RBTE retail solutions event, a shortlist for the RBTE Innovation Trail and Awards has been unveiled.

Entries for the award were reviewed by a panel of experts from a range of industry organisations.

The entries that have made the shortlist will be featured in the Innovation Trail at the RBTE event and highlighted on the ‘Winners Wall’ at the event on 9-10 March 2016.

The following innovations have been shortlisted for the award: Adyen – Adyen omni-channel payments technology; Aldebaran – Pepper Robot; Apex Supply Chain Technologies – Smart Lockers; BIXOLON Europe – B-gate; Cambridge Consultants – ZipLine; Checkpoint Systems – Fresh Meat Management Optimisation Solution; Datalogic – Bar Code Scanner; Eagle Eye – Eagle Eye AIR; MaxTag  – Loss Prevention / Behavioural Software; NextOrbit – cloud platform to predict and mitigate Retail Out of stock; ParcelSpace – ParcelSpace; paysafecard – Online Prepaid pays off; PKS Services – Right to Work verification with Grabba’s integrated biometric data capture solution; Segura – Segura; Trakker Solutions – Price Trakker; Xhockware – YouBeep.

“We were overwhelmed by the exceptionally high quality of the entries, and the volume that we received,” said Matt Bradley, event director, RBTE. “The judges had a tough job making their selections, and the competition was very close. The innovation programme follows the successful launch of the Innovation trail at last years RBTE, which attracted a lot of attention for the participating companies, and it has certainly gathered momentum in the number of entries and industry interest.”

The winning innovation will be announced on the event’s first day, during the Big Party in the Dell Champagne Bar at 4.45pm.

RBTE 2016 takes place at Olympia, London on 9-10 March 2016.
