Retail Business Technology Expo introduces e-commerce bootcamps

Retail Business Technology Expo is to hold its first ever 'eCommerce Bootcamps' during the event at London’s Earls Court from 11-12 March 2014.

Led by industry experts, the bootcamp sessions have been designed to give attendees practical advice on the key elements of e-commerce. The programme has been constructed with the guidance of the e-commerce experts from the RBTE steering committee.

SLI Systems will use the first bootcamp session to discuss how retailers can attract and retain customers to online sites, while Celtech will focus on how companies can implement real-time stock fulfilment and ensure products are available for customers at the point of order.

Other sessions held by companies such as eGain, TustPilot and Red technology will focus on the omnichannel customer platform, social media and interactive marketing. In addition, NetSuite will focus on global expansion, while Clear Returns will discuss how customer data can be exploited successfully.

VeriFone will close the bootcamp with a session on ‘Checkout and payment – smooth transactions and ensuring customers trust your website. How to reduce basket abandonment’.
