Organisers of the Directions EMEA 2017 event, which will take place in Madrid, Spain on 4-6 October, are planning to provide Microsoft Dynamics partners with new opportunities to grow their businesses by covering an expanded range of topics in their event agenda.

Over its nine previous editions, the event has become well-recognised as the largest annual meeting of the Dynamics NAV partner community. But the 2017 edition of Directions EMEA will reach beyond NAV-related topics to address all Dynamics partners focused on the small to medium-sized (SMB) business market. The new agenda will also cover Microsoft CRM, Office 365 and other areas.

The expanded agenda will provide attendees with access to the latest product knowledge from Microsoft. The event will also give participants opportunities to network and collaborate with each other, and discuss new products and business models, including cloud computing.

Marko Perisic, general manager of Microsoft Dynamics SMB, and other executives from Microsoft will profile the new Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business edition solutions to attendees, covering the initial experiences gained from the launch of Dynamics 365 Business edition for Finance and Operations in countries such as the UK and Holland.

Additional enhancements within Dynamics 365 Business edition, many of which have been also implemented within the 2018 release of Dynamics NAV codenamed ‘Tenerife’, will also be discussed.

The event will have over 200 sessions, covering a range of topics from development tools to platform improvements and new customisation capabilities. NAV partners can also take part in readiness workshops and roundtable meetings on the best practices for successful implementation, sales and marketing of Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

More than 70 sponsor companies will attend, including many returning software vendors that bring to the conference upgraded or completely new solutions that fill in the gap that both Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 leave for business and industry-specific add-ons.

The Madrid event will welcome the largest number of new exhibitors, a reflection of the emerging growth opportunities for the Dynamics community focused on the SMB market.
