US-based Safepoint Insurance Company has selected Duck Creek Technologies to modernise its core property and casualty insurance systems.
The residential and commercial property insurance company, which serves customers in Florida and Louisiana, will use Duck Creek’s policy and billing solutions to improve operational efficiencies. The new systems will also support new product development that will allow Safepoint to diversify its range of insurance products and services, and expand its business to additional US states.
“To be fast to market with improved efficiencies is the winning combination that enhances customer service and increases profitability,” said Eugene Van Biert, chief revenue officer at Duck Creek Technologies. “Safepoint already has the experienced professionals needed to deliver exceptional service. With our policy and billing solutions in place, the company will have the speed and functionality needed to reach its goals.”
Duck Creek’s solutions will also enable Safepoint to enhance the service experience it provides to independent agents and customers.
“To be able to continue to offer the exceptional customer service and comprehensive coverages our customers expect, we knew it was time to transition onto a more modern platform to make it easier for agents and customers to do business with us,” said David Flitman, CEO at Safepoint Insurance. “We chose the Duck Creek system for its configurability – it will let us innovate and respond to market changes quickly, giving us important competitive advantage.”
