Singhammer launches Dynamics 365 extension for better billing

German software firm Singhammer IT Consulting has launched a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central extension to deliver an end-to-end process for costing, sales and services. The DYCE Subscription & Recurring Billing app will help businesses to efficiently generate quotes and invoices for recurring services such as subscriptions.

Organisations that offer these services, licences and flexible pricing models often have to manually prepare sales quotes and invoices using different systems that are difficult to synchronise, which can be time consuming. According to Singhammer, the DYCE Subscription & Recurring Billing app replaces individual tools and manual processes and effectively handles the steps from quotation to monthly billing.

“For over two decades, we have been constantly exploring with our customers and partners how process improvements can be achieved,” said Roger Friederich, CEO of Singhammer IT Consulting. “With our new cloud-based app, processes around offering, selling and billing services can be harmonised on the one hand and implemented much more efficiently on the other.”

The new app displays all customer contracts as well as the associated cancellation periods. The DYCE Essentials App, which is included free of charge, allows products, bundles, warranty and other services to be quickly summarised in offers and orders.

Users can also access other functions that include setting up standard service portfolios to store all services in the system and defining the time intervals for invoicing. Singhammer says that the “option to automatically divide invoice amounts into single and recurring amounts and display them sequentially guarantees that quotations are correct and complete even with different billing intervals”.
