UniGroup has deployed Accenture Duck Creek to manage its global transportation and logistics claims operations more efficiently and cost effectively.
Accenture’s software will support claims functions across UniGroup’s various businesses, including residential carriers United Van Lines and Mayflower Transit, logistics company UniGroup Logistics and international relocation provider UniGroup Relocation.
The new software will enable UniGroup’s customers, agents and employees to submit, process and administer cargo loss claims from first notice of loss to resolution via an online system. Once implemented, the software will help UniGroup to streamline and automate processes, boosting efficiency and reducing claim handling times.

Accenture Duck Creek Claims software is part of a suite that also incorporates billing, policy and rating software. The configurable software is designed to work independently or as a combined approach to manage all aspects of the property and casualty insurance lifecycle.
