Specialist enterprise intranet and business intelligence provider, Cloud2 has teamed up with Valuechain to create an integrated portal for the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) and automotive sector.

The APC is a £1 billion, ten-year commitment between the government and the UK automotive industry. The centre formed to bring innovators and producers of low carbon propulsion systems together. APC needed a way of keeping the supply chain flowing by helping participants find partners and work collaboratively with other companies.

The integrated portal will enable partners and stakeholders to share and manage data to deliver insights with a collaborative user experience.

The solution will also provide visibility of the automotive electrified supply chain, allowing organisations to work together, find new suppliers and understand opportunities available using Office 365, with the core capability delivered using SharePoint Online.

It includes several elements from existing Cloud2 solutions. Hadron intranet enables document management and publication while Hadron Connect brings advanced organisational directory.

“The APC is doing some amazing work in the automotive industry, using cutting edge technology to help drive the low carbon technology in vehicles and boost the UK supply chain; it’s given us a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase the breadth of our solutions,” said Simon Hudson, director at Cloud2.
