Veeam Software has partnered with LabTech Software to deliver Veeam Endpoint Backup for LabTech, a new solution that helps to simplify backup and recovery of Windows-based desktops and laptops.
The new release enables service providers to efficiently deploy and manage backups across numerous endpoints, as well as monitor and report on endpoint backups from the LabTech console.
Users can also perform remote bare-metal restores of failed devices, which helps save both time and money.
With desktops and laptops creating and storing vast amounts of business and personal data, losing a single endpoint device can result in significant financial loss. Veeam Endpoint Backup for LabTech is designed to provide managed service providers (MSP) that are using the LabTech remote monitoring and management platform with a simple and clear view of their customers’ endpoint devices.
“Significant investments have been made into ensuring availability across the modern virtualised data centre to support today’s Always-On Business, yet endpoint protection has sometimes been overlooked,” said Mike Waguespack, vice president, Global Cloud Group at Veeam. “Veeam Endpoint Backup for LabTech addresses this problem head-on. In a business environment when any data loss or even a few minutes of downtime is unacceptable, this new offering is a clear differentiator. Veeam Endpoint Backup for LabTech enables MSPs to offer a complete solution with high-speed, low-cost remote management and recovery of endpoints.”
The new solution uses Veeam’s endpoint backup technology and provides centralised management of backup and recovery tasks across the LabTech Control Center, and is designed for both new and existing MSP LabTech Software partners that require and endpoint backup solution.
“LabTech understands the power of Veeam’s availability solutions and are delighted to be partnering with them to deliver Veeam Endpoint Backup for LabTech,” said Jason Magee, vice president of Strategic Alliances at LabTech Software. “The managed service provider market is a highly competitive environment, and many organisations claim to offer turnkey solutions that can manage a customer’s entire IT infrastructure, but endpoints rarely get the same attention as the heart of the data centre. We can now offer our 4,800 service providers and their customers a bullet-proof, non-intrusive solution that ensures availability across the entire IT architecture.”
