Barracuda CloudGen WAN can improve network performance and reduce costs for users. The solution runs inside Azure Virtual WAN and Barracuda says that it can “replace costly, inflexible network connectivity circuits, and the entire network can be dynamically sized to match current traffic workload”. “Cloud-native, secure SD-WAN technology, like the new CloudGen WAN service from Barracuda, provides a fast, reliable, and direct path to Microsoft Azure,” said Yousef Khalidi, Azure networking lead at Microsoft. “We’re pleased to collaborate with Barracuda for this new wave of faster public cloud adoption to help our joint customers optimise network performance.” Barracuda Networks launches Microsoft Azure-based secure SD-WAN Upland InGenius offers new customer service integration Upland Software now offers computer telephony integration (CTI) support for Microsoft Omnichannel for Customer Service via its Upland InGenius solution. This integration combines an organisation’s phone system with its Microsoft Dynamics 365 customer information and reporting tools. Upland Software says that “InGenius is ideal for Dynamics phone agents who support a variety of other channels, including email, chat, and cases”. Within the same Microsoft Dynamics window, agents can push work items through Omnichannel, while having easy access to things like phone controls, and one-click case creation through the InGenius user interface.
