Technology Record - Issue 26: Autumn 2022

163 I NDU S T R I A L S & MANU FAC TUR I NG CFPR began migrating to Nintex K2 Cloud in March 2021, with the development of a raw material procurement, sales and logistics application for an entity that had previously managed everything manually. With the new application, the process is divided into three steps: scoping, line approval and notification. The next step was to migrate two credit note request processes for the group’s Setalg and Phosphea businesses. Two more credit note management applications were developed within Nintex K2 Cloud for the group’s packaging business line and for its TIMAB Magnésium entity. When the time came to migrate its more complex applications that were connected to multiple systems, including group-wide capital expenditure requests, Groupe Roullier once again turned to Orange Business Services. The final set of applications was migrated in July 2021. “When we called on Nintex to support our migration to Nintex K2 Cloud, the team was always there for us – without fail,” says Santana. The migration fixed all the persistent problems and solved latency issues experienced by the group’s entities. BPM experts at CFPR have been so delighted with Nintex K2 Cloud that they are now planning to use the platform to develop a group-wide application for managing goods and services. With support from Orange Business Services, the team will create an application that interfaces with multiple ERP systems and features tightly controlled data access with profile- and entity-specific permissions. Another application in the pipeline will automatically draft annual contracts for the finance division, drawing on data from a range of IT environments. Since Nintex K2 Cloud does not support document generation, the group is also exploring the use of Nintex DocGen to fill the gap. “The Nintex team was always there for us when we needed it – without fail”
