USA Before the end of 2026, Microsoft will invest $3.3 billion in the development of a new data centre campus in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, which will expand its cloud and AI infrastructure capacity. This will enable local companies to grow, modernise and improve their products and enterprises. Sweden By investing $3.2 billion, Microsoft hopes to help train 250,000 people in Sweden with AI skills by 2027. Microsoft will also increase capacity at the country’s three data centres. UK Microsoft AI, a subdivision of Microsoft, is opening a new hub in London. It builds on Microsoft’s £2.5 billion ($3.2 billion) investment in the UK that aims to upskill the workforce for the AI era. France In France, Microsoft will spend €4 billion ($4.3 billion) to expand its AI and cloud infrastructure and deliver AI training to one million people. It will also supply up to 25,000 graphics processing units to expand its data centre sites in the Paris and Marseille regions by the end of 2025.
