34 The 2025 edition of Microsoft Ignite will be held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California, USA, from 17-21 November. Attendees will hear from Microsoft executives and other leaders on their vision for AI. Microsoft spokespeople will include chairman and CEO Satya Nadella, executive vice president and chief commercial officer Judson Althoff, and chief technology officer Mark Russinovich. Key themes will include modernising data estates to build a foundation primed for AI-ready infrastructure, seeing what’s possible with Azure AI apps and agents, eliminating silos with AI-powered tools, and protecting sensitive data and supporting compliance across digital estates. The event includes an optional pre-day on 17 November, for demonstration labs and sessions. Attendees can learn about a variety of topics ahead of Ignite, such as adding AI to existing apps running on Azure Container Apps, unifying data and building AI solutions with Microsoft Fabric, and securing and simplifying Windows Server. The labs are designed to provide hands-on experience with technologies and an opportunity to test cloud solutions from Microsoft and its partners. This will be followed by three and a half days of experiences, sessions and opportunities designed to strengthen attendees’ skills and help them build connections and explore emerging technologies. Ignite is also a chance to connect with Microsoft experts, partners, executives and customers.
