33 Multinational confectionery manufacturer Mars is working with Everpure, Accenture and Microsoft to bring on-premises storage capabilities to its Microsoft Azure cloud workloads. The project builds on a strong relationship with Everpure, which has seen Mars implementing solutions including FlashArray, FlashBlade and the Pure1 management plane to build a futureready, hybrid-cloud infrastructure for always-on operations. Now the Everpure Advanced Services team is helping Mars to complete its transition to hybrid cloud. It will integrate Everpure Cloud to seamlessly run VMware workloads and extend its IT infrastructure into the cloud with improved flexibility and cost efficiency. Mars will also expand its use of cloud-native applications through Microsoft Azure. IDEMIA Public Security has integrated its Identity Verification technology with Microsoft Entra to enable organisations to confirm the identity of new hires via their mobile driving licence. New employees can present their mobile licence in their smartphone wallet before joining the organisation. IDEMIA’s solution verifies the credential directly with the issuer’s cryptography, confirming its authenticity. Once verified, the organisation’s administrators can reverify employees’ identities before they access critical systems.
